JetLite is now Jet Konnect, says Mr. Naresh Goyal, the founder and Chairman of Jet Airways. Its no-frills service JetLite will operate separately under the JetKonnect after being merged. It's been effective since March 25, 2012. This rebranding process will enable its guests to avail a superior full service in-flight product in low-fare category. The airline will offer Premiere services on certain routes which Jet Airways' premier guests would enjoy on its flights till now.

India's premier international airline, Jet Airways has carried out the strategic rebranding exercise to consolidate its low fare service products (JetLite and Jet Airways Konnect) under the Jet Konnect brand to make the group's service proposition simpler and boost brand recall.

After consolidation, the low-fare service brand JetLite, JetKonnect will officially replace JetLite and Jet Airways Konnect and start to operate air service in 56 cities in India. It will operate over 430 flights daily.

Essentially, JetKonnect is committed to provide low-fare service (as no-frills service providers Jet Lite and Jet Airways Konnect) with a mixed fleet of ATR and Boeings aircraft. These places will operate on metro, tier II and III routes. Most JetKonnect flights will operate under the S2 code and 9W code. These codes will serve in their Code share agreement as well.

The whole JetKonnect aircraft fleet will duly be painted in a distinct JetKonnect colors.

JetPrivilege membership would remain as common for both Jet Airways and Jet Konnect flyer programme. JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold and Silver card members will be able to earn JPMiles and redeem JPMiles on all JetKonnect flights. Salient features of JetPrivilege are:

  • Extra Baggage allowance
  • Lounge access

The Jet Airways' Première service guests will enjoy a full meal service, including seats, seat pitch, food and beverage, on-ground offerings such as special check-in counters, lounge access alike as on JetKonnect. However, the economy cabin guests will have the option to purchase product on board through the JetCafe service.

The cockpit and cabin crew will don the same uniform as their counterparts from Jet Airways. Guests to would automatically be redirected to 9 from March 26, 2012.
